Take a look back in the past. Look at yourself 1 year, 5 years, or even 10 years ago. Look at the differences in your personality, interests, and even lifestyle. So much has changed over the span of those years. A couple years ago, you may have thought you knew exactly where you were going in life, but that is just not the case. We have no idea where our lives are going. No matter how hard we try to control our lives, we have no idea what the outcome will be. With that being said, don't get so focused on controlling the future; it's ineffectual. We will never know the direction of our lives, so let God control it. Let God take control of your life; he is the only one who knows where it's going. Enjoy the present. Enjoy the gift of now. God has allowed you to come this far; show him you are grateful through gratitude.
