Throughout our lives, we read many bible verses, hear bits of wisdom from others, and grow in our faiths both personally and through community. Some of the things we learn, such as giving up a sin that we commit regularly may be hard. We might know that what we are doing is bad, but have never fought back. In doing this, we need to be strong, stay planted, and listen to what the Word tells us to do. We should not just listen to the Word and move on with our day, but incorporate the word into our lives. We have a shirt here at Mustard Seed with the verse James 1:22. This verse states "But be doers of the Word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves". Stand firm, and incorporate the Word into your life. Be doers of the Word.
